<p>TJS were approached by Body Building UK to help promote their newly designed website. They wanted to promote their products as quickly as possible. As the Google Consultant for TJS Website Developers, Zaddle were brought in to offer their expertise in the field on Google AdWords.</p>
<p>We developed a very targeted campaign, taking their top 20 best selling products and creating niche AdWords triggered by between 20 &#8211; 30 keywords and phrases.</p>
<p>What was great about working with this client is that they already understood the need to be competitive &#8211; on price, on delivery, on delivery times and on service. Without being competitive on all of these, the client could have spent their Google AdWords budget with little or no conversions. Instead, they receive over a 300% return on investment on their monthly AdWords spend.</p>

<p>We were approached by Crest IT to increase the traffic to their website and to get them listed on the first page of Google for localised search terms.</p>
<p>What you have to be very careful of when considering localised search terms, is do they actually get searched for? There are several companies that offer a &#8220;guaranteed&#8221; first page listing on Google. Please be very careful if you are ever approached by these companies &#8211; more often than not, you will be charged £20-£30 per month for a &#8220;keyword&#8221; &#8211; and on the face of it, it might look like a decent search term for your business, however what happens is, you will be given &#8220;keywords&#8221; that are very unlikely to have anyone searching for them, which in turn, means you will not get any business as a result (and yet you will be parting with £100-£150 per month). What is very confusing from a business owner with little understanding of the internet, is that when they do the search themselves they DO appear on the first page of Google &#8211; however unless they are about to purchase their own services or products, then their listing is pointless.</p>
<p>After extensive research, we decided on four geographical areas the company has offices in, and we have done a combination of Search Engine Optimisation and Google AdWords to try to increase the number of enquiries for this IT firm.</p>
<p>As I write this post they are on the first page of Google for one phrase, the top of Bing for three phrases and slowly moving up the Google rankings for the rest.</p>
<p>Update &#8211; the client ended up on the first page of Google for several localised search terms related to his business.</p>

<p>We were approached by this client to help promote their business online.</p>
<p>We considered a two pronged approach &#8211; short term, we decided to run targeted Google AdWords campaigns for their services, including Weddings, Christenings, Funerals, Business Meetings, Hotels (in Leeds) and eating out. These campaigns were two fold, on the one hand they targeted people searching with the appended word of Leeds, Pudsey or surrounding areas. On the other hand, we also targeted generic keywords searched within a 15 mile radius of their location.</p>
<p>Long term, we also decided to look at ranking highly in the natural Google listings for several keywords that were relevant to the business. As of February 2012 we had achieved the following:</p>
<ul>
<li>Position #1 in Google for &#8220;Business Meetings Leeds&#8221;</li>
<li>Position #1 in Google for &#8220;Hotels In Pudsey&#8221;</li>
<li>Position #2 in Google for &#8220;Civil Ceremony Reception Venue Leeds&#8221;</li>
<li>Position #3 in Google for &#8220;Wedding Reception Leeds&#8221;</li>
<li>Position #4 in Google for &#8220;Wedding Receptions Leeds&#8221;</li>
<li>Position #6 in Google for &#8220;Civil Ceremony Reception Leeds&#8221;</li>
<li>Position #6 in Google for &#8220;120 seat restaurant&#8221; (not that we targeted this phrase!)</li>
<li>Position #9 in Google for &#8220;Christening Venue Leeds&#8221;</li>
<li>Position #10 in Google for &#8220;Funeral Venue Leeds&#8221;</li>
<li>Position #10 in Google for &#8220;Civil Ceremonies Leeds&#8221;</li>
</ul>
<div>These positions have been maintained for at least the last 2 years.</div>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<div>Ultimately all this is irrelevant if the business is not actually getting bookings and making money from these activities.</div>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<div>We analysed the amount of business that had been generated by these online marketing campaigns and discovered that over £60,000 had been generated in ONE year.</div>
